Location: Bronx, NY (or any Tri‑State regional office)
Compensation Range: $120,000–$170,000

Role Overview
The Assistant Controller will play a central role in safeguarding the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of the business. This position owns full P&L reporting, oversees balance sheet integrity, and serves as the main financial liaison for all regional and field operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports.
- Maintain and reconcile the full balance sheet.
- Act as financial primary point of contact for field offices and regional leadership.
- Manage job‑level costing across installations, replacements, repairs, and maintenance agreements.
- Oversee general ledger accuracy and reconciliation processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, project management, and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience within HVAC, construction, or other field‑service‑based industries.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Proven experience owning both P&L and balance sheet functions.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional partnership skills.
