This role is ideal for a Project Accountant who enjoys digging into job costs, owning financial accuracy, and partnering closely with operations to ensure projects are billed, tracked, and reported correctly.
If you have hands-on experience with project-based accounting, WIP, and unit-based billing, and enjoy improving processes while maintaining high standards, this role offers both stability and growth.

Partner with operations and customers to manage billing approvals, including initial job setup and ongoing change orders.
-
Maintain clean, audit-ready billing documentation aligned with contractual terms.
-
Provide backup support for accounts receivable and collections activities.
-
Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on aging items, and help resolve billing or payment disputes.
-
Own month-end close responsibilities for an assigned region or business area.
-
Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-
Record journal entries with proper support for accruals, adjustments, and allocations.
-
Track and analyze project and job costs, including projects spanning multiple months.
-
Manage WIP billing and production costing, including work performed by subcontractors and third-party vendors.
-
Ensure accounting activities comply with internal policies and GAAP standards.
-
Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, research, and special projects.
