Construction Controller
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity reporting directly to the CFO. The Controller will oversee the accounting operations of the company with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, job cost/percentage of completion accounting, and financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities of Controller:

Lead core accounting functions with a strong focus on AR, revenue recognition, job cost/percentage of completion accounting, and balance sheet integrity

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and perform detailed analytical review of results

Partner closely with operations to monitor project performance, margins, billing accuracy, and cash flow

Collaborate with the CFO on annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning

Strengthen internal controls and improve processes surrounding revenue, receivables, and reporting

Drive automation and modernization initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability

Support and help manage the annual audit process

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic growth initiatives
Supervisory Responsibilities of Controller:

Lead and develop the accounting team with an emphasis on AR and revenue cycle oversight

Build scalable processes and identify training opportunities to support continued company growth
Qualifications for Controller:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA required
-
Public accounting experience required
-
5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility

Construction or manufacturing experience preferred

Strong understanding of percentage of completion accounting and revenue recognition

Proficiency in accounting software (Great Plains preferred) and Microsoft Office
-
Strong communication skills and leadership presence

$160k-$180k base salary
