What You’ll Do
- Serve as the lead contact for all public records requests.
- Ensure compliance with CPRA, HIPAA, and related laws.
- Oversee records collection, redaction, and response processes.
- Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures for records management.
- Supervise and train staff on best practices, HIPAA security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with legal, IT, and program teams to coordinate timely and accurate responses.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and respond to regulatory reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressively responsible administrative experience (program management, policy analysis, or compliance).
- Strong knowledge of CPRA, HIPAA, and public agency records management practices.
- Experience supervising staff and managing cross-departmental collaboration.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
