Job Title: Operations Manager (HVAC / Home Services)
Compensation: $75K–$90K base + bonus potential (up to ~$100K for a top performer)
Work Model: Shelton, FT onsite
Position Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day office and operational functions for a well-established HVAC / home services company. This is a highly operational, hands-on leadership role responsible for dispatch, customer service, administrative processes, and operational reporting. The Operations Manager will be tech-savvy, experienced in ServiceTitan, and comfortable leading office teams while partnering closely with ownership and accounting.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
- Lead daily office and operational functions as the Operations Manager, including dispatch and customer service
- Oversee technician scheduling, routing, and workflow efficiency
- Manage and support dispatch and customer service teams (approximately 5 direct reports)
- Act as the primary ServiceTitan power user as the Operations Manager, owning workflows, reporting, and data accuracy
- Monitor and interpret operational and financial metrics such as revenue, job costing, labor efficiency, and invoicing
- Support payroll coordination, timecard approvals, invoicing, and collections
- Develop, document, and improve SOPs to drive consistency and scalability
- Serve as the operational liaison between ownership, accounting, and the office team
Preferred Experience of the Operations Manager:
- Prior experience as an Operations Manager, Office Manager, or similar leadership role within HVAC, home services, or a trades-based industry
- Strong ServiceTitan Software experience, including reporting, workflows, and admin functionality highly preferred
- Tech-savvy Operations Manager comfortable working with operational and financial systems (QuickBooks a plus)
- Experience managing dispatch and customer service teams
- Working knowledge of invoicing, collections, and general ledger concepts (no deep P&L ownership required)
- Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, process-improvement mindset
