Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: White Plains, NY (100% in-office)
Compensation: $65-70k

Our client is an established firm in White Plains looking for a detail-oriented AP professional who thrives on accuracy, organization, and keeping financial operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Do

As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations - owning the full AP cycle from invoice to payment while partnering closely with our Controller and Accounting Manager.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage end-to-end invoice processing, coding, and approvals
  • Process payments and coordinate vendor relationships
  • Drive month-end and year-end close processes
  • Handle escrow account coordination and bank reconciliations
  • Process 1099-MISC reporting and petty cash management
  • Conduct research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Support special projects as the business evolves

What You Bring

  • 3 years of hands-on accounts payable experience
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles and general ledger coding
  • Confidence with MS Excel and accounting software
  • Self-starter who can work independently and own their work
  • Strong communication skills - you'll be liaising with vendors and internal teams
