About the Role
This position is ideal for an Accounting Assistant who enjoys hands-on accounting responsibilities and being a key support function within the finance team. The Accounting Assistant will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely

  • Prepare invoices, expense reports, and assist with payroll processing and tax-related filings

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial records are complete and up to date

  • Support compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies

  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters

  • Assist the accounting team with general administrative and financial support as needed

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant

  • At least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience

  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Compensation
$45,000–$55,000 annually
