Seeking Financial Analyst for strong, stable, growing organization


Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Financial Analyst to support critical financial operations within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, excels in Excel-based financial modeling, and has the ability to communicate insights clearly across departments. This Financial Analyst must demonstrate diligence, approachability, and a proactive mindset in driving continuous improvement.


Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSF, MAcc) is highly preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, modeling, analysis)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to multiple departments
  • Demonstrated forward-thinking mindset with a diligent, approachable working style

Financial Analyst's Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead costing activities, including monitoring, analyzing, and reporting material and production cost trends
  • Manage inventory reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with operational data
  • Serve as backup for month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial support
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Prepare and deliver reports and dashboards across departments; present findings clearly and concisely
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational impacts and financial performance
  • Make recommendations for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and performance optimization
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making

Location: 100% on-site available to candidates within a commutable distance to company headquarters.
