Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, your primary duties will include:

  • Account Reconciliation: Review accounts for discrepancies and complete month-end reconciliations.
  • Account Structure Management: Establish tables of accounts and assign entries accurately.
  • General Ledger Oversight: Prepare general ledger entries and maintain/reconcile financial records.
  • Audit Preparation: Ensure accuracy of GL accounts and assist in preparing for external audits.
