Senior Accountant – Audit Preparation

Pay Rate: $95k-110k (dependent on experience)
Location: Hudson, Co. On-site preferred

A high-growth manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support audit preparation ahead of a scheduled March audit. This role is critical in ensuring the books are clean, schedules are audit-ready, and documentation aligns with technical accounting standards. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

Clean up and prepare general ledger and supporting schedules in advance of audit
Ensure balances, reconciliations, and documentation are audit-ready
Prepare and organize audit schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve accounting gaps or inconsistencies
Support external auditors and respond to audit requests efficiently
Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with GAAP
Assist with process improvements related to audit readiness and financial reporting

Required Senior Accountant Qualifications

Senior Accountant level accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth manufacturing environment
Large publicly traded company audit experience strongly preferred
Experience participating in 5+ audits as a primary accounting contact
Strong technical accounting background and understanding of GAAP
Proven ability to clean up books and prepare audit-ready schedules under tight deadlines
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
