A well-established, family-run public accounting firm in Greenwich, CT is seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This role sits at the front desk and is perfect for someone who enjoys client interaction, supporting office operations, and working in a fast-paced professional environment—especially during busy tax seasons.

You’ll be joining a firm with strong tenure, collaborative team dynamics, and direct interaction with experienced CPAs and partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Greet clients and visitors as the first point of contact
  • Scan and organize tax documents and files
  • Manage e-file administration for tax filings
  • Scan invoices and send bills to clients for approval
  • Perform light Outlook scheduling support
  • Assist with general office administration, filing, and document organization

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, mature, and well-organized demeanor
  • Prior administrative or office support experience required
  • Accounting or public accounting experience is a plus, but not required
  • Degree preferred but not required — relevant experience welcomed
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in a high-volume office setting
